Project Overview
Background
In the United States alone, there are roughly 165,000 rummage sales held each week. On average,690,000 people buy something at a yard sale each week.
Problem
There is currently no platform that allows potential buyers to find local rummage sales. People looking for rummage sales have to drive around and look for signs.
Goals
My vision is to create an application enabling users to locate local yard sales. The app could generate income either by imposing fees on the user or seller for listing their yard sale, with an upgraded version facilitating the seller to upload images and detailed narratives of the sale.

This project was the End-to-End project for the Designlab UI/UX Academy bootcamp.
During this project I utilized necessary UX strategies such as conducting user interviews, analyzing the data received, deciding which features are important to the product, producing sitemaps and flows, making wireframes, and product testing that were learned during Phase 1 of Designlab UX/UI Academy.
During this project I utilized UX/UI design tools such as competitive analysis, user interviewing, affinity mapping, POV and HMW statements, user personas, storyboarding, project goals, feature sets, card sorting, site mapping, user and task flows, wireframes, responsive design, usability testing, and prototyping.
During this project I utilized UI/UX design branding tools such as color theory, typography and accessibility.
